Sweet White Bread

White bread sweetened with honey (no sugar) with olive oil (no butter).

Equipment

  • 1 Bread Maker
  • 1 Silicone Bread Pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 egg
  • 20 g olive oil extra virgin
  • 40 g honey
  • .5 tsp salt
  • 335 g bread flour King Arthur
  • 1.5 tsp yeast
  • 6.5 oz water

Instructions
 

  • Make sure the paddle is in the bread maker pan.
  • Water warmed to 95-105 deg into the pan.
  • Add a small amt of sugar along with 1.5 tsp yeast to headstart activation.
  • In a large bowl, weigh out flour.
  • In the center of flour (to reduce the amount that sticks to the sides) add salt honey and oil.
  • Add the bowl contents to the bread maker and add 1 egg.
  • Start bread maker on setting 19 for 2 hours.
  • Warm a heating pad in the Microwave with a small bowl of water.
  • Transfer dough from pan to silicon bread pan and stretch it to sit evenly to all 4 corners.
  • Place the bread in the microwave and keep it there for 30 minutes or until it rises an inch or so above the bread pan all the way around.
  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees and when bread has risen, bake it for 25 minutes.
  • Remove and let cool for 30 minutes or so before slicing.
